Tell you landlord that you will have the money on Friday and pay the late fee. Do not get a cash advance. The interest is ridiculous. You will loose more money by getting the advance. Just wait the 4 1/2 days and eat what is in your cupboards. I am sure you have stuff in there to cook just not what you really want to eat. Make it work and then get some financial counseling. If you are living pay check to pay check and can't buy food you have a problem.
i got stuck in a rut a few years back and had to get a cash advance. and then, i had to keep getting them just to stay afloat. i would have to borrow more when i went to pay back the previous advance. it is a never ending cycle. if you can talk to your landlord about paying this month's half on friday and then half the next week, that would still give you some money for grocerys and gas.except if the rent is due. will the landlord accept half? normally it is all or nothing.cash advance are an option when there are no other options. try setting some money aside into a savings account that you can use as your own personal cash advance and save the 15%.

don't do it. these places will kill you in fees. i would talk to your landlord or rental office and let them know where you stand and your sittuation. some places will tell you tough but you will only be responsible for the late fees. if you go to a cash advance place there if no telling what you will get stock paying back. and if you are going to be late paying all of your rent anyways then you will have to pay both fees... some to the cash advance and some to the renter!communication is key!
